Setup and Installation
-
Complete the Pre-course Survey so that we have a better understanding of your programming background and expectations.
- Install Anaconda. This will be the primary software that we would be using throughout the course. The installation Instructions for Anaconda depend on the machine you are using:
- On your local machine: Follow the instructions to install anaconda.
- On a UCL managed machine: Request your IT department to install Anaconda following the installation instructions.
- On Desktop@UCL: Anaconda is already installed.
- Once Anaconda is installed, please go through this video that shows how to setup JupyterLab on your local machine. This will be the primary interface that we would be using for the course.
Warning: Using Desktop@UCL for the course might result in a laggy performance. Running on your own computer is likely to give a smoother experience.
