Week 7 - Utilisation of sombrero benchmark and testing within a HPC system

Introduction _______________________________________________

This week, I started testing the sombrero.py benchmark by modifying several variables: running without the -w option, adjusting the size with the -s flag (using small and medium), changing the time frame to ensure tasks are performed correctly, and varying the number of tasks (1, 2, 3, 4) and CPUs (1, 2, 3, 4).

Finally, this task will lead into next week’s work, where I will create a graphical representation of the data collected from sombraro.py.

Challenges _______________________________________________

I faced some challenges that affected my performance in the project, including learning a new method for working with multiple terminals in HPC using tmux. This allowed me to run tests and continue completing other tasks simultaneously.
